Walnuts Sweet and Spicy

1 lb. walnuts or pecans 1/2 cup cup water 1 cup sugar 1/2 tsp kosher salt 1/3 cup sesame seeds 1-1/4 tsp cayenne pepper Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Add walnuts or pecans, water and sugar into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Stirring constantly add the rest of ingredients and cook over medium heat until water is nearly evaporated (approx 4 mins). Lower the heat and continue stirring for 4 mins until nuts are brown. Then pour nut mixture onto prepared cookie sheet and spread in a single layer. Bake for about 15-20 minutes until nuts are a golden brown. Let nuts cool completely before you break them up and put them in a bowl to serve. Enjoy! #snack #Superbowl #nuts #sweet
