White Chocolate Covered Matzo

Supplies:
Wilton Candy melts white and blue
Blue Sprinkles
Matzo

Break Matzo into four pieces. Melt the white chocolate first and follow the instructions on the bag to melt the chocolate. Dip half of the broken Matzo into the white chocolate. Let it cool completely on a piece of parchment paper. Then melt the blue chocolate and dip 1/4 of the Matzo. Let it cool for about 20 minutes. Then gently sprinkle the blue colored sugar on the end of the matzo. Now, let the Matzo cool completely before serving.  Happy Pesach!

Jewelry - Vintage Pendant

This pendant was made with my Grandmother's jewelry. It was an earring that I made into a pendant.

Insecticide Spray

I am still making lotions and potions with all of the essential oils I bought. The insect repellent (blog post 7/1/13) worked for about fifteen minutes before the mosquitoes decided the spray tasted like a marinade and NOT a repellent! The deodorant (blog post 7/3/13) worked but I would not recommend traveling with it. It was a melted mess when I arrived at our destination. I will make more and use it only in my home. My next experiment is a homemade insecticide spray. I adapted this one so my husband can use it on his garden. Insecticide Spray   1/2 head of garlic (you do not need to peel them) 1/2 T of pepper flakes 1/2 cup water   Process in a blender until smooth then pout mixture through a sieve to remove chunks of garlic or pepper flakes. This is your "base."   Pour your base mixture into a spray bottle. Add 4 cups of water and 1 teaspoon of Jojoba oil. Screw on top and shake.
