Home Decor - Paper Lantern - this only takes a minute to add a little sparkle to your party

Here is an easy way to add a little sparkle to your summer parties. I found these small paper lanterns at Michaels Craft store and sprayed one coat of glitter spray paint on the outside of the paper lantern and then added a battery operated tea light inside.  Glitter Paper Lantern with a light

Home Decor - Table Decoration

My son loves books. His High School was throwing away old reference books so he brought them home. He knew I would try to make something with them. I made one book into a tree. You can use it on your table for any holiday. Paint it green for Christmas, blue for Hanukkah, pink for Easter etc...or leave it black and white for any day. Table Decoration Supplies: old book, large telephone book or magazine spray paint (optional) Take an old book and cut off the front and back cover. Then start to fold each corner into the center, do this to every page. You can use a butter knife to smooth out the fold. Once done, spray paint it any color or leave it black and white.

Home Decor - Wooden Box

My friend told me about his gratitude jar. Every night he writes and dates a note about something or someone he is thankful for and puts it in his jar. Then at the end of the year he reads the notes and sees how grateful he is for his life. I loved this idea and painted a wooden box for my gratitude box.
